Maternal Mental Health

At Levin Psychotherapy,  we understand the unique challenges and emotions that can arise during pregnancy and the postpartum period.

Maternal mental health refers to the emotional well-being of women during pregnancy and the postpartum period. These are significant life events that can bring a range of emotions, from joy and excitement to stress and anxiety. It's important to recognize that it's normal to experience a wide spectrum of feelings during this journey.

Some common challenges related to maternal mental health include:

  • Postpartum depression and anxiety

  • Feelings of overwhelm and isolation

  • Adjusting to new roles and responsibilities

  • Grief and loss related to pregnancy complications or childbirth trauma

  • Stress related to parenting and family dynamics

  • Infertility and Third Party Reproduction

We want you to know that you're not alone in facing these challenges.
